Route: Haridwar → Barkot → Janki Chatti → Yamunotri
Distance: Haridwar to Yamunotri: ~220 km + 6 km trek
The journey begins from Haridwar to Barkot via Mussoorie or Rishikesh. From Barkot, drive to Janki Chatti, and then trek 6 km to reach the Yamunotri temple.

Route: Yamunotri → Barkot → Uttarkashi → Gangotri
Distance: ~180 km
Return from Yamunotri to Barkot and proceed to Uttarkashi. From there, drive towards Gangotri along scenic routes by the Bhagirathi River. Road conditions are good in summer.

Route: Gangotri → Uttarkashi → Guptkashi → Gaurikund → Kedarnath
Distance: ~280 km drive + 18 km trek
Return to Uttarkashi and travel to Guptkashi via Tehri. From Guptkashi, reach Sonprayag and Gaurikund. From Gaurikund, start an 18 km trek to reach Kedarnath.
