Snow starts melting but routes to Yamunotri are still blocked. Preparations begin for reopening. The temperature remains low, ranging between 1°C and 10°C.
April marks the final preparation phase. Snow is mostly cleared, and the region starts becoming accessible. Still, the temple generally opens in late April or early May.
